A few things to know.
Which AirPods models does Tanner fit?
Choose the version for AirPods 4, AirPods 5 or AirPods Pro 3. Each version is made for its own charging case; the covers are not interchangeable.
What leather is it made from?
Full-grain cowhide with a Crazy Horse finish. Crazy Horse is the name of the finish, not the animal the leather comes from.
Is the leather the same as Tanner for iPhone?
Yes. Both use full-grain cowhide with a Crazy Horse finish and a microfibre lining. Natural differences between hides mean the grain and tone can vary slightly.
Is the cord included?
Yes. The detachable cognac cord with its brown leather detail is included.
Can I remove the cord?
Yes. It can be attached and removed, so you can use Tanner with or without it.
Can I charge wirelessly with Tanner on?
Yes, if your AirPods charging case supports wireless charging. Use a compatible charger and align the charging case on it. Tanner does not add wireless charging to a case that does not support it.
Does the cover have MagSafe magnets?
No. Wireless charging works through the cover; it does not contain additional MagSafe magnets.
Will it develop marks?
Crazy Horse leather can develop changes in tone and light surface marks through handling. This is part of its evolving patina. The comparison shown is illustrative, not a timed wear test.
Is it waterproof?
No. Avoid soaking the leather. If it gets damp, blot it gently and dry it naturally away from direct heat.
How do I care for it?
Wipe light dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning products. Ask us before using a leather conditioner, as it may change the finish.
